Nevertheless

This piece depicts Jesus, just after reading about His future crucifixion. He is looking at children out in the distance who are playing and in His heart He is telling the Father, "Nevertheless, let Thy will be done."

I have held this concept in my head for well over 35 years.

I am so glad that I have finally created it and have the means to share it for others to think upon.

Hopefully a church or home can find a place for it now.

A place where it can help others contemplate what our Lord must have been thinking at various times in His life.
