"Edie's Monster" A Sunday School Adaption

This is the first book ever written for the White Memorial church Christmas Eve candlelight services. It is currently being illustrated and the cover art is being designed. What is so unique about these books is that they are being released as Sunday School helps, first. To be added to the church preservation project and provided to the holiness movement for their churches, homeschools, and other institutions.

It is about a little girl who is struggling to fight against acts of sin and carnality. During this struggle she comes face to face with herself, in very extreme circumstances and finally has to make some decisions. What were they? And what caused her to make the choices that she made, both good and bad?

These are just some of the questions you can ask your students and loved ones, once they have heard it and finally become a part of her amazing story. A story that, at the moment, only one small church knows. Here is a sneak peek of the unfinished cover art. It is still in the process of final rendering...

In every book, there is a qr code that can be scanned to listen to a song. Usually the songs are sung by the main characters. This one is Edie's song and it is entitled, "When Will I Be Free?" She has an incredible journey that others will realize reflects their own as well, no matter what stage of the salvation process they find themselves at. And not only that, but It could possibly show them the next step that they themselves may need to take, as they follow her journey. May it richly bless all who read it.

Also be on the look out for an even newer book entitled, "Sekani and The Black Rhino".

It is being written as an extension of a drawing that was gifted to each of the pastors at the conference in Malawi, Africa. This is that piece of art that was sent. The piece was archival and limited edition and each was signed and numbered...After seeing it in the hands of the people there through Sister Darlene Young's photos, it only seemed fitting that the piece should also be made into a book. The piece itself will be the cover of the published book and parts of it, turned into clip art images in the Sunday School Adaption, which is currently being designed. Here is a glimpse of that...

These are just small images cropped from the first, unedited, Sunday School Version. This Story even has real life characters mentioned in it and the Black Rhino is an actual black rhino that lives in Malawi today! Mphatso is Sekani's brother, they are both fictional. Mr. Moyo is a real life Malawi park Ranger who cares for the real rhino.  And the real rhinos name is Kumi, and she doesn't play games! The characters learn from Kumi, about their own stubborn, proud, and dangerous natures... but we digress, before we are left with no description to post of the books, once finished.

A lot of study went into it, for authenticity, So that the people of Malawi can really relate to the work as well and hold it dear, long into the future. "Sekani's Song", is still being written and will also be translated into two different songs. One in English and one in the Malawi language, sung acapella.

And here is one last sneak peek. This one is very close to being finished and will most likely be the next one available in Sunday School format. Entitled, "To Make God Smile", It is about a boy who goes out of his way to help another little boy by making a huge sacrifice. It is very heartwarming...

And here is Ethan's song...

Pray that God uses these Sunday school materials and books, once finished, to bring many people to God. Come support the effort with your presence, your prayers, your pennies or your perspiration. All are welcome!
