From its replaced pane and missing lead line, to its exquisite color palette, this piece is drenched in comfort peace and assurance. At the church, this windows base bares the names of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles C. Cross. Standing for years and beckoning to those heavy hearted individuals who, down through the years, sat in the pews right next to it. How many hearts has it comforted? How many aching spirits has it soothed? Has it stopped anyone from falling into overwhelming despair? Only God knows.

This image is actually the word of God itself because it speaks of a true story from the bible. It is literally preaching 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Another reason why these windows must be seen again by the people on the outside passing by! They can no longer see them from the street and it is a travesty. How many more people could the church windows be comforting at the exact time they may need the encouragement? Helping folk who are walking down the street after some domestic spat or some tragedy or after suffering the loss of a loved one.
