Then, there is the symbolic thumbs up gesture, disguised as lifting his tunic, given from the center man, to the others behind him who are preparing the cross and reviling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnother detail that is intriguing is the look of calm detachment on the roman soldiers eyes, it seems to be depicting how numb this man has become to such evils.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe mold and water marks have distorted some faces and an entire portion of the beard of the man had to be replaced, but when money was tight, it had to be replaced with regular glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have done our best to capture the images and prep them for canvas but there is no comparison when you come and see them up close and in the sunlight and u touch them. They are truly wonderful to behold. The more I type each description, the more I appreciate the privilege to be involved in their restoration. If They look this breathtaking now, how jaw dropping will they be restored to their full glory!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one sits behind the pulpit and is probably the crown jewel! It is extremely large and bathes the pulpit in deep saturated colorful rays of light. They believe it is necessary in order to have a society who's love is firing on all cylinders and who care and respect each other.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe piece is, without doubt, burned into the memory of the older generation of this area and we hope it brings back that nostalgia and warmth to their hearts and minds when they finally see it again. You see, these windows are covered from the outside with a sheet of plexiglass. The plexiglass panels have become cloudy and scratched through the ages and are in need of nice, new sheets. The windows need professionally cleaned to remove all the mold swirls and the missing lead lines, between legs, fingers and panes. New clear coverings are needed, so that they can ignite the area again with a holy awe! But, due to the cost of huge sheets of the material, the church has not been able to put up new ones.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts also the reason that this particular collection is so rare. These particular canvases hold each of the windows present flaws and missing panes. Once the windows are restored completely, getting images again like these will be impossible. We are capturing them in their very last breaths before they are, in faith, rescued as Peter was before he went totally under! You see, these windows are covered from the outside with a sheet of plexiglass. The plexiglass panels have become cloudy and scratched through the ages and are in need of nice, new sheets. The windows need professionally cleaned to remove all the mold swirls and the missing lead lines, between legs, fingers and panes. New clear coverings are needed, so that they can ignite the area again with a holy awe!
